The Ninja DZ950 is a side-by-side dual basket air fryer with two independent 5-quart baskets (10 Qt total) and an integrated Smart Thermometer that cooks proteins to the doneness you pick. Smart Finish ends both baskets together, Match Cook copies settings across, and IQ Boost splits power so a 6-lb chicken and a side cook as fast as possible. It has six programs and a 105°F to 450°F range. Buy it if you cook meat for a family of four or more and want no-guess doneness. Skip it if you mostly cook frozen snacks or cook for one or two; the 8-Qt Ninja DZ801 is smaller and cheaper.
Best for: Families of four to six who cook chicken, pork and steak often and want the thermometer to call doneness, plus anyone who wants to air fry a whole chicken in one basket and a side in the other.
Skip it if: You mostly cook frozen foods or cook for one or two. The Ninja DZ801 (2 x 4 Qt) is more compact, and the Ninja DZ302 gives you two 5-Qt baskets without the thermometer.

Specs from the Amazon listings. Also see our Ninja DZ550 review, the earlier 10-Qt Ninja with a thermometer.
The DZ950 is a new listing, so there are far fewer Amazon ratings than for older Ninja models like the DZ201 or DZ302. It is wide: plan on about 14 inches of counter width and 16 inches of depth, plus room for the vents. It uses 1690 watts, so plug it into its own outlet on a 15-amp circuit. Ninja's own product page lists Max Crisp among its programs while Amazon lists Air Broil, so check the panel on the unit you receive. The thermometer is only useful for meat and fish; for fries and vegetables you cook by time as usual.
The thermometer makes lean meat easy. Try today's air fryer pork chops in one basket with our roasted sweet potatoes in the other, or browse all of our easy air fryer recipes.
Juicy boneless pork chops with a smoky paprika rub, done at 400°F in about 12 minutes. Plug in the DZ950's thermometer and pull them at 145°F every time.

Yes. The Smart Thermometer is included and plugs into the side of the unit. You pick the food and doneness and the air fryer tells you when it is ready.
Each basket holds 5 quarts, for 10 quarts total. Ninja says the unit can cook up to 8 lb of chicken wings or a 6-lb whole chicken plus a side.
The DZ950 has larger 5-Qt baskets, a built-in Smart Thermometer, IQ Boost and a 450°F maximum on Amazon. The DZ801 is the smaller 8-Qt model with two 4-Qt baskets and no thermometer.
The crisper plates are dishwasher safe and the baskets are nonstick for easy cleaning. Follow the manual for cleaning the thermometer probe.
Ninja lists a one-year limited warranty for the DZ950.
